Description |
Kerosene heaters such as this one were used to heat one-room schoolhouses during the cold winter months. The heater was portable and could be moved throughout the schoolhouse when it was convenient. Content can be used with the following standards: 4th grade SS 4.25 Technological Changes in a lesson on objects used before the development of electricity to provide heat and light.
