Description |
This service station in Tingley, Iowa, William Brookman in 1923 and sold to E. M. Breckenridge in 1924. Between 1924 and 2006, the station went through eight different owners. The station's last owner, Jerry Knight, closed the station in 2006. Today, a welding shop and garage occupy the former station building. Content can be used with the following standards: SS-Econ. 9-12.24 Iowa Impact Upon Economy in a lesson on Iowan businesses during the early 1900s.
