W. B. Richardson of Stilson, Iowa, built this two-story blacksmith shop in 1910. This building replaced Richardson's previous shop and served as Stilson's town hall for many years. Content can be used with the following standards: SS-Econ. 9-12.24 Iowa Impact Upon Economy in a lesson on early town development and businesses of Iowa during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
