Description |
This is a photograph of the extended family of Hoyt Sherman on the steps of John Sherman's house. The photograph was taken during the late 1800s and includes sixteen individuals, of which seven are men and nine are women. They are all dressed in period attire, primarily in shades of black and white. A large dog rests on the lap of one of the women on the front porch in the photograph.
