The First State Bank of Corwith filed articles of incorporation on October 8, 1895. The article was signed by E.L. Stilson, O.H. Stilson, C.M. Gowdy and L.J. Barber of Corwith. The bank began with a capital stock of $60,00 and soon merged with the work of E.L and O.H. Stilson and became known as the Bank of Corwith. |
