This online exhibit created by the Iowa Women's Archives provides a brief look at the history of women's suffrage in Iowa. The exhibit also includes pictures of objects and women who played an important role in the development of women's rights in Iowa. Archive can be used with the following standards: 8th grade SS 8.25 Iowa Government, SS-Gov. 9-12.28 Iowa Issues and Policies and SS-US 9-12.23 Iowans Influence US History to develop lessons focused on women's rights and suffrage.
